About the app

What is Kharga, and how does it work?

Kharga is an integration platform between EV owners (car users) and providers of EV charging infrastructure. At-a-glance, the platform has the following features:

For EV owners:

  • Self-registration in the platform. You can create your own account (to have access at the platform) , define your car (to personalize and tune up the charging process) and register your charger if you want to shared it with others.
  • Schedule and reserve charging time slots on selected charging locations, based on your proximity, preferences and policies
  • You can share your own charger with other users to gain points that can be used to charge your own cars at a different location, for example, or just to reduce your costs.
  • Plenty of reports that allow you to see where and how you spent your points and who and for how long used for shared charger.
  • Manage your spending via known trusted external payment platform.

For  EV charging Infrastructure (charging suppliers):

  • Self-registration in the platform as Charging Infrastructure Supplier
  • Self-define your location: position on the map, number and type of chargers, who can use it.
  • Define how charging power is available at your location: less during the day, more during the night, priority users etc
  • Time when your location is available for others: maybe you want the weekend for your self
  • Set the charging price based on your criteria, like: how much you location is used or how much energy delivers or maybe you want a late-departure fee to apply.
  • Usage reports

In a nutshell Kharga brings two worlds together: Ev owner (consumer) and charging supplier (supplier).
